The challenge and the process
There was a disconnect between the experience strategy and the way that the current site worked. To add, the budget was a huge challenge on this project - we needed to carefully weigh which activities would provide most value and deliver the largest outcome.
We co-located with the company and spent most of our time understanding their content creation process, the core barriers to maintaining the site in the right way and what templates and structures would enable them to align experience design strategy to the actual site.
Our interim design served an important segway to VSO realizing their vision for their final website.
To this date, I have completed small-scale projects for similar organisations, most of them currently in development. I love working on projects for non-profit organisations.
